Personal data processing policy

At Uxum Technology we respect your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data, in compliance with Colombian Statutory Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 (compiled in Decree 1074 of 2015) and other applicable data protection regulations.

We only collect data you voluntarily provide when contacting us through the form, WhatsApp or email:

  • Your name and, if provided, your company name.
  • Phone/WhatsApp number and email address.
  • Any information you share about your project.

This site does not store form data on its own servers: the form only prepares a message that you choose to send via WhatsApp or email.

We do not collect sensitive data or data from minors.

3. Purposes

We use your data to:

  1. Answer your inquiries and quote requests.
  2. Prepare, send and follow up on commercial proposals.
  3. Deliver contracted services and provide technical support.
  4. Send you information about your project or our services, if you authorize it. You can ask us to stop at any time.
  5. Comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.

By checking the authorization box on the form or by contacting us directly, you give us prior, express and informed authorization to process your data for the purposes described in this policy.

5. Your rights

As the data subject, you have the right to:

  • Access, update and correct your personal data.
  • Request proof of the authorization granted.
  • Be informed about how your data has been used.
  • File complaints with Colombia’s Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).
  • Revoke your authorization and/or request deletion of your data, when there is no legal or contractual duty to keep it.
  • Access your personal data free of charge.

6. How to exercise your rights

Email us at uxumtechnology@gmail.com with your name, your request and a contact method.

  • Inquiries: answered within ten (10) business days, extendable by five (5) more business days with notice.
  • Claims (correction, update, deletion or revocation): handled within fifteen (15) business days, extendable by eight (8) more business days with notice.

7. Processors and international transfers

We use third-party services that may process data on servers outside Colombia with adequate protection levels:

  • WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) and Google (Gmail) to communicate with you.
  • Web hosting and content delivery providers to publish this site.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

8. Cookies

This site only uses one technical cookie (uxum_lang) to remember your language choice. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy.

9. Security and retention

We apply reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access or misuse. We keep your data only as long as necessary for the purposes described and applicable legal obligations.

We may update this policy. Any changes will be published on this page with the update date.
